The Hope That Anchors My Soul

Hi friend,
Welcome to Tales of Grace. I’m truly so glad you’re here. This is Abide Mondays—a space where we pause, breathe, and realign our hearts with the One who holds us steady.
Can I be honest with you? It’s been a while—about a month—since I last shared an Abide Mondays post. Life’s been a little overwhelming lately, and somewhere in the midst of it all, I grew weary. Maybe you’ve felt that way too? Tired. Quietly wondering if what you do even matters. I’ve had moments where I thought, “What’s the point? Maybe no one will notice.”
Even today, I hesitated. I almost didn’t post this. But something stirred in my heart—a gentle nudge reminding me that even if it’s just for me, it’s still worth showing up. Sometimes, we need to speak truth aloud just to remind our own hearts.
This week, our anchor scripture is Hebrews 6:19—
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”
I’ve been sitting with this verse, and honestly, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. What a gift it is to have hope in Jesus. It’s not a fleeting kind of hope—it’s deep, steady, and unshakable.
I truly believe that to hope is to live. When the night feels long and heavy, we cling to hope—trusting that morning will come. And it does. Not because of wishful thinking, but because our hope is anchored in Jesus, the One who never lets us down. That’s how we keep going. That’s how we endure.
As we step into a new week, let’s take a quiet moment to thank Jesus for the kind of hope that never disappoints.
Let’s pray:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the gift of salvation and the steady hope that anchors my soul. My words could never fully express how grateful I am. I lift up those who don’t yet know You—may they come to experience Your unfailing love and the beautiful hope You offer. In Your precious name, amen.
Wishing you a peaceful, grace-filled week ahead. And just a gentle reminder—Loved Beyond Measure journals are in stock! You can order yours here or find it on Amazon. They’ve been such a sweet space to meet with God—and I’d love for you to have that too.
With all my love,
