The Testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy

Hi friend!
Welcome back to Tales of Grace. I’m so glad you’re here. Truly.
This week at work, while working, I found myself leaning into something that’s been feeding my soul—podcasts. But not just any podcasts. These were raw, honest conversations where people shared their real-life stories—moments where God stepped in and completely changed everything.
And oh, how they’ve blessed my heart! Each story echoed the unshakable truth of God’s grace, His greatness, and—if I may coin a word—His mightyness. (Is that a real word? Maybe not. But it’s definitely earned a place in my vocabulary!)
One story in particular has stayed with me. A woman shared how she used to be involved in witchcraft. It all started with a longing—a deep, aching desire to connect with her grandmother who had passed away. That desire? It was real. It was tender. But instead of turning to God with that pain, she sought answers elsewhere. And just like that, the enemy found a foothold.
What began as innocent curiosity led her down a dark, tangled path. But God—oh, friend, but God—met her there. In the depth of her deception. In the middle of that mess. And He pulled her out with His mighty hand.
Once again, I found myself in awe of the bigness of God. How there’s no place too dark, no heart too far gone, that His grace can’t reach. As long as there’s breath in your lungs, His mercy is still at work.
I believe with every fiber of my being that her testimony didn’t just bring her freedom—it unlocked freedom for others too. Because we truly do overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. (Revelation 12:11)
And Revelation 19:10 reminds us:
“Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
That means when you share what He’s done, you’re not just telling a story—you’re declaring what He can and will do again.
Testimonies are powerful. You’ll never convince me otherwise. And the enemy knows that. That’s why he works so hard to keep us silent—feeding us shame, fear, and doubt. But here’s the truth: people can debate theology, but they cannot argue with your story.
When I share how GOOD God has been to me? No one can tell me different. That’s my story. My lived, breathed, experienced grace.
So let me gently ask—if God has been good to you (and I know He has), why not share it? We naturally talk about things that excite us. We tell the world when we find a good restaurant, a great movie, or a life-changing book. So why not share about the One who’s transformed your life?
Please hear my heart—this isn’t to guilt you or twist your arm. Not at all. But I do think it’s a loss when we stay quiet about His goodness. Because someone out there might be waiting to hear your story—the very one that could spark hope, stir faith, and lead them to freedom.
If you’d like to share your testimony on the blog, I’d be honored to feature it. You can reach me through the Contact Me page. Let’s tell these stories together.
P.S. Our Loved Beyond Measure journals are still in stock! You can grab yours here while they last. For my international friends, they’re also available on Amazon.
Thank you for reading. I love you all so much.
Grace and peace,
Tales of Grace
