Welcome back to Tales of Grace—and to another Abide Monday. There’s something so special about starting the week together, bringing our plans before Jesus and resting in His presence. I’m so grateful you’re here.

Lately, Psalm 127:1 has been stirring in my heart:

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”

It’s a gentle but powerful reminder that no matter how much effort we put in, if God’s hand isn’t in it, it’s all for nothing.

So this week, my prayer is simple: that we would surrender our plans, our to-do lists, and even our worries to Him. May God’s presence fill every space we step into, and may His hand be upon everything we do—because when He moves, nothing is ever in vain.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift Your name high. Be glorified in our lives, our cities, and the spaces where You’ve placed us. We surrender our dreams, our plans, and our week to You—come and do what only You can do. Holy Spirit, guide our steps, shape our words, and help us honor You in all we do. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
